Who?
- Youth B Athletes (15-16 as of December 31, 2025); participants born in 2009 or 2010
- Youth A Athletes (17-18 as of December 31, 2025); participants born in 2007 or 2008
- Junior Athletes (19-20 as of December 31, 2025); participants born in 2005 or 2006
- Senior Athletes (17+ as of December 31, 2025): participants born in 2008 and before

Athletes’ Registration

CEC uses a new Registration Site. Everyone will need to create a NEW account.

Speed Development Camp

For a third consecutive year, CEC will host a Speed Development Camp for Athletes and Coaches, under the leadership of Speed Coach Libor Hroza! Born in the Czech Republic, Libor has competed at the World Level in Lead and in Speed for the past 10 years. He is a former World Record holder in Speed with multiple World Cup podiums to his credit, including two time European champion in speed climbing and a 2nd place at the World Championships in 2012. Libor is coaching our Canadian Speed Record Holders, Ethan Flynn Pitcher and Dylan Le, and many other climbers!

Athletes participating in the Speed National Championship will have priority to register to the camp if they wish to do so. After a pre-registration period, the camp will be open to anyone (as long as they are 15 and older at December 31, 2025). Athletes registered in the Camp will be placed randomly in one of the 3 blocs.

Blocs:

Bloc 1 – 7:30 to 9:30am
Bloc 2 – 9:45 to 11:45am
Bloc 3 – 12pm to 2pm

Each bloc is caped at 12 athletes

Sunday February 16

7:30 AM Development Camp
2:00 PM Development Camp ends
1:30 PM Senior check in and warm up on boulder wall
2:30 PM Senior warmup and qualification
4:00 PM Senior finals, awards to follow
*Youth A and Junior eligible athletes are allowed to compete in the Senior Competition as well, if they chose to do so (and vice-versa). Athletes MUST qualify for every and each competition they wish to compete in (e.g. a 16 years old athletes must qualify in Youth A and Senior to compete in both categories at Nationals)
