To Canadian Climbing Gym Owners,
Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) and Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs) want to better understand the Canadian climbing landscape and its challenges.
We are launching a National Climbing Facility Survey on this topic with you, as gym owners, to initiate a dialogue and determine how we can support you. In addition to starting a dialogue, this survey will allow us to create a consolidated national list of Canadian climbing gyms to foster ongoing communication and support.
Through this survey we target multiple goals, including but not limited to:
- Initiating a dialogue between the various levels of climbing participation in Canada
- Creating a support network in times of crisis, such as the current pandemic
- Creating a stronger national communication tools for cohesive messaging
- Providing the climbing community with a list of facilities in their area and throughout the country
