The International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) hosts an annual Youth World Championships. The 2025 edition will take place in the capital city of Finland, Helsinki, on 28 July to 3 August, 2025. With the recent change in age categories, the 2025 Youth World Championships will include Youth B and Youth A categories only.
CEC can qualify up to 3 athletes per category, per discipline, per gender. Qualification details are available here. (2025 criteria to be updated shortly)
As we anticipate a big team of Canadian athletes attending this event, we must ensure the recruitment of a big team of Canadian Coaches and Chaperones! CEC is calling for applications for the following volunteer positions:
- Up to 2 Co-Head Coach (priority will be given to one male applicant and one female applicant)
- Up to 4 Youth Team Assistant Coaches / Chaperons
