Climbing Escalade Canada has released an updated version of the 2026 National Team Policy.
This update includes clarification items and naming updates only. There are no structural changes to the National Team Program, squad structure, selection priorities, or Continuous National Ranking system.
The updated policy includes the following revisions:
- Updated references following the World Climbing name change
- Updated references to the World Series name
- Clarification in Section 3.1.2 on how CNR points earned in 2024 and 2025 will be addressed during the 2026 transition year
- Clarification in Sections 4.2.4 and 4.2.5 on CEC’s World Series athlete selection and invitation process
The English version of the updated policy has been released today. The French version will be released later this week.
