Climbing Escalade Canada is currently seeking host facilities for several events on the 2026–2027 national competition calendar.
While an RFP for these events was issued last year, we are now opening a simplified call for interest. Facilities interested in hosting one or more of the events listed below are invited to contact CEC directly by email.

What We Are Looking For
In particular, CEC is interested in identifying:
- Facilities with strong organizational capacity and volunteer support;
- Regions where increased access to national-level competitions would benefit athlete participation and development;
- New venues that may be ready to host a CEC event for the first time;
- Gyms that have previously expressed interest in hosting competitions;
- Previous host facilities that are excited to welcome the climbing community back and build on the success of past events.
As we continue to grow the sport across Canada, we are committed to building a competition calendar that balances operational excellence, athlete experience, and regional accessibility.
How to Apply
Interested facilities should email CEC to indicate which event(s) they would like to be considered for and provide a very brief overview of:
- Their facility;
- Previous competition hosting experience;
- Available infrastructure and volunteer capacity;
- Any additional information that would support their application.

Deadline to Express Interest
The deadline to submit an expression of interest is July 6, 2026.
While CEC will accept expressions of interest up to the deadline, facilities are encouraged to contact us as early as possible. We may begin confirming host locations as suitable applications are received in order to facilitate planning and event preparation.
Early expressions of interest are therefore strongly encouraged.
