Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) is now accepting applications for its volunteer-based committees for the 2025–2026 season.
CEC Committees play an essential role in the success and sustainability of our sport. They offer a valuable platform for stakeholder engagement, contribute critical expertise, and provide the support needed to advance key areas of our operations. Given CEC’s limited human resources, these committees also help move important projects forward by sharing the workload across a broader group of committed individuals.
We are currently inviting applications for the following committees:
- Route-Setting Committee
- Technical Committee
- Belaying and Safety Committee
- Coaching Committee
- Para-Climbing Committee
- Diversity and Inclusion Committee
Each committee is led by a CEC staff member and composed of volunteers who bring relevant experience and a commitment to helping shape the future of competition climbing in Canada.
Whether you’re an athlete, coach, official, gym operator, or advocate, this is your opportunity to get involved and make a difference.
How to Apply
Applications are open to all individuals passionate about contributing to the development of climbing in Canada. Members must be willing to commit time for virtual meetings and committee-related tasks over the course of the 2025–2026 season.
