The IFSC is seeking nominations for its Athletes Commission. The commission provides a channel for communication between athletes and the IFSC Board. It also supports the IFSC in developing the sport, monitoring the health of all athletes, and fighting against doping. Members of the commission are elected for four year terms, with elections being held at the IFSC World Championships every two years.
The elections of the IFSC Athletes’ Commission are scheduled to take place during the IFSC Climbing World Championships held in Moscow on 15-22 September 2021. Nomination deadline is August 20, 2021.
CEC is looking to support nomination of Canadian Athletes on the IFSC Athletes Commission. If you are interested in this challenge, please send this nomination form to the CEC Athletes Commission President, Elise Sethna, by August 6, 2021. The CEC Athletes Commission will review candidates and support the best application(s) to be presented to the IFSC.
