2023 NACS Kick Off

The first event of the 2023 North American Cup Series took place this past weekend in Redlands, CA, USA. A total of 86 women and 110 men participated in this Boulder event, including many Canadian athletes.

Congratulations are in order to our CEC athletes that showed strong performances at this event! This was our biggest Canadian Contingent to a USA NACS event yet!

It has been confirmed at the @ifsclimbing General Assembly that Climbing will be once again included in the @pan_am_games in 2027, in Lima, Peru. This event will be a Qualifier for the 2028 LA Olympics. 

As for Olympic Games, we are still waiting on IOC decisions regarding Paralympic inclusion (expected June 2024) and medal count in LA (expected in 2025).
