  • When?
    • Lead: Friday and Saturday, June 20-21, 2025
    • Speed: Sunday June 22, 2025
  • Where?
    • Climb YEG, Louise McKinney Riverfront Park, Edmonton, Alberta
    • Outdoor Wall
  • Who?
    • Senior Athletes (17+ as of December 31, 2025); participants born in 2008
    • Speed: also open to Youth B Athletes (15-16 as of December 31, 2025); participants born in 2009 or 2010
    • Athletes must be a member of their respective National Federation (Climbing Escalade Canada, USA Climbing, etc)

Athletes’ Registration

CEC uses a new Registration Site. Everyone will need to create a NEW account.

List of Registered Competitors

  • This event is open to all athletes aged 17 and older at December 31, 2024 (2008 and before)
    • Speed has a Youth B (15-16) category
  • Participants must be a member of their respective National Federation
    • For Canadian Citizen and Canadian Resident, the 2024-2025 CEC Athlete License is required (or the 2025 NACS one-time license)
    • For others, please select the International License. Your National Federation will be asked to confirm your membership status
  • Registration Cost:
    • Lead $250 CAD
    • Speed $175 CAD
  • CASH PRIZES –
    • Lead: $1,000 CAD to the winner of each gender! And cash prizes to 2nd and 3rd place!
    • Speed (Senior only): $500 CAD to the winner of each gender! And cash prizes to 2nd and 3rd place!

  • The current list of approved Coaches for the 2024-2025 Season is available here: 2024-2025 Approved Coaches List
  • Coaches from other National Federations must be vetted by their respective NF
  • ALL COACHES MUST BE REGISTERED BEFORE THE START OF THE TECHNICAL MEETING. No coaches will be added to the list once the meeting has started.

The competition will be governed under the North American Cup Series (NACS) Event Manual.

Appeals

  • The Appeal Jury is composed of the Jury President and Head Judge
  • A written appeal must be submitted within 5 minutes of the climber’s final climb (appeal form)
  • An appeal fee of $100 CAD is payable to the CEC
