IFSC Releases 2023 Calendar

Sep 15, 2022

The IFSC released, earlier this week, its 2023 Competition Calendar: The Start of a New Olympic Qualification Path. There will be 12 World Cups in 10 countries, including six events in each of the sport climbing discipline: bouldering speed and lead.

The 2023 World Championships will be in Bern, Switzerland, from August 1-12, 2023, and the annual Youth World Championships will be held in South Korea, from August19 to 27.

Furthermore, there will be 3 Para-Climbing World Cups: USA, Austria, and Switzerland.

CEC athletes will be back on the IFSC Circuit following a strong 2022 campaign. All eyes will be on athletes as they aim to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. This 2023 journey also promises to be a valuable experience for developing athletes on their pathway to the LA 2028 Olympic Games.

CEC Team Selection Dates will be published before the end of 2022.
