Call for Applications – Volunteer-based Committees

CEC is calling for applications for its many Volunteer-based Committees. These Committees are essential to the operation of CEC, and provide guidance and support to the organization’s management staff. Each Committee meets 6-8 times per year, pending on workload, and are limited to 10 members.

Committees’ Mandate

High Performance Governance Committee
Mandate: The High Performance Governance Committee (HPGC) will support CEC’s values and mission to help achieve the objectives of the High Performance Program (HPP). The HPGC is tasked with the oversight and adherence to the high performance selection policies.

CNR Working Group
Mandate: Reporting to the High Performance Coordinator (HPC) and the High Performance Governance Committee (HPGC), and the CNR Working Group (CNR-WG) will provide expertise on the Continuous National Ranking (CNR).

Performance Advisory Group
Mandate: The Performance Advisory Group (PAG)will support CEC’s values and mission to help achieve the objectives of the High Performance Program (HPP). The PAG is an advisory committee that will support the High Performance Coordinator (HPC) by providing expert advice on matters dealing with physical and mental performance.

Routesetting Committee
Mandate: Managed by the Routesetting Consultant and reporting to the Executive Director (“ED”), the Routesetting Committee aims to support the CEC Routesetting Programs and development by providing expertise, knowledge and advocacy to the ED.

Technical Committee
Mandate: Managed by the Technical Consultant and reporting to the Executive Director (“ED”), the Technical Committee aims to support the CEC Rules Programs and development by providing expertise, knowledge and advocacy to the ED.

Belaying and Safety Committee
Mandate: Managed by the Belayer Consultant and reporting to the Executive Director (“ED”), the Belaying and Safety Committee aims to support the CEC Belaying Programs and development by providing expertise, knowledge and advocacy to the ED.

Coaching Committee
Mandate: Reporting to the Executive Director (“ED”), the Coaching Committee (“CC”) aims to support the CEC Coaching Programs and development by providing expertise, knowledge and advocacy to the ED.
