The Board of Directors of Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) is seeking candidates for positions on the board of directors for the upcoming year.
The CEC seeks to put forward and develop a Board with a diverse skill set and a broad range of experiences in various areas and professional sectors. Successful applicants will have a range of skills and experiences which may cover areas like not-for-profit organizations, provincial or national sports organizations, finance, legal, accounting, risk other directorships, corporate governance, marketing, fund-raising and information technology.
For the 2022 – 2023 year, CEC is particularly interested in finding directors with experience in accounting (ideally CPA), fund raising. external communications, risk, and grassroots/community development. We are also seeking diverse candidates, in particular gender and self-identified diversity (e.g., racial, LGBTQIA2S+, disability).
